Making sugar cookies with kids is surely not for the faint of heart, but they love it. I really think the simplicity of these cookies with the bunny tails are just too cute and would be a hit with the kids.
I adore this idea from The Imagination Tree and it involves some favorites in our house glitter and dinosaurs. It takes a little bit of set up, but then the kids spend lots of time trying to figure out how to get the dinosaurs out of the ice. Head on over to The Imagination Tree for all the details.
Anything cream related- shaving or whipped cream is always a favorite for kids. Why? It’s messy, that’s why. This one is super cute though and makes some fun Easter decorations. Hop on over to A Night Owl’s blog for all the cute details.

I know I mentioned that many of these projects/activities were achievable by what you had at home, but sometimes you just need that one stop project. This cute DIY garland kit would be fun to do with the kids. If you have multiple kids it would be fun to string them all up together and have as a momento for years to come. This kit is available from Willow Bee Designs on Etsy.
These are so fun and the best part about something like this is it takes little hands on help from adults, am I right? I think we’re going to do these next week and instead of rainbows we are going to do eggs. These are simply cardboard cutouts provided to each child and then they can decorate them with tissue paper, pom poms, glitter, paper, whatever you’ve got around.
Crafty Morning has the super genius idea of having a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt! Fill some eggs with tea lights, hide them and let the kids have a great time.
Painted Rocks are having their moment that’s for sure. My neighborhood has been big about placing them around lately to brighten everyone’s mood. It seems since a lot of rocks are egged shaped it only makes sense to paint them like eggs. I think these ones from Projects with Kids are super cute.
Here’s a fun Easter spin on gingerbread houses. I like that the scale of these houses are a bit smaller than those dang gingerbread houses I can never get to stay up anyways.
I adore these salt dough ornaments from Design Mom. They’d be great to mail to Grandparents or other family members as well! See all the details and complete list of materials needed from Design Mom.
I’m looking forward to cranking out a few of these activities with my kids in the next couple weeks! Follow me on Pinterest for more ideas.
